ADSS preformed suspension clamps are mainly adopted to support and suspend ADSS optical cables. They apply to ADSS optical cables, power conductors and grounding wires deployed on overhead transmission lines, and are recommended for line sections with a deflection angle of less than 30 degrees. As a special connecting hardware for overhead power lines, this helical suspension clamp is designed to mount ADSS cables on utility poles and transmission towers. It can reduce static stress on cables at suspension points, enhance vibration resistance and suppress dynamic stress induced by aeolian vibration. Besides, the clamp limits cable bending within the permissible range to eliminate extra bending stress. The installation prevents hazardous stress concentration on cable surfaces, so as to avoid additional optical attenuation and fiber damage inside ADSS cables.
