Spiral vibration dampers are primarily used with ADSS optical cables. By producing damping resistance to aeolian vibration, these dampers dissipate and counteract vibration energy acting on the cables, so as to protect the cables from vibration-induced damage. The proper spiral vibration damper shall be selected based on the cable outer diameter prior to installation (refer to the selection table).
